Peace, do you want it in your life? - Robin Chodak

Peace, do you want it in your life?

Do you want some peace in your life?

Maybe you already have some, but you would like more of it. Maybe you have never experienced it because you are running on overload.  You have no time to relax and certainly no time allocated just for you.  You actually believe that peace is only reserved for wealthy people or those who have time and money for travel and to escape from reality.

Overwhelm is your normal emotional state and the only time for yourself is when drop your head on the pillow and hope you can get some sleep.Does this sound like you?  Hence, you are not alone.  There are many people who feel exactly the same.  Peace seems to be a commodity in this day and age.  It seems the idea of peace is far out of your realm just as far as the stars are in the sky.  You believe the chances of achieving peace are the same as a falling star landing on your head.  It’s nearly impossible.

Your world is filled with chaos and noise.  This may be true, but there is something you can do about it.  It doesn’t cost you any money, nor an excessive amount of time and you can start at this very moment.

Start with this.

Know that you have the power to control the physical noise in your home or office.  How?  Turn off the radio and T.V.

You may feel powerless in many areas of you life.  The problem is that you have forgotten how much control you really do have. But let me remind you that you have the power to stop and do the following at any given moment.

Try it now!

Close your eyes, take a deep breath, and see a tranquil image in your mind.  This can be done at any moment when noise internally or externally is overwhelming to you.   Much of the lack of peace is the noise in your own head.  Consequently, it’s those thoughts of worry, anxiety and negativity that run wild.

You can learn to calm your mind with that simple action.  It’s one thing that you can begin to do today.  It’s a start.

My wish for you is to have more peace in your life.

I am a woman on a journey of recovery after the suicide of my husband in 2005. It has been a long voyage, but I was able to create a new identity and find happiness again after much hard work. I hope that I can help you along this path, too.
